In accord with our mission of keeping the memories of early ranch life alive, we actively encourage young people to learn about and to shoot the firearms of the 19th century. A primary emphasis is gun safety.

We reach out to: Boy and Girl Scouts of America, Future Farmers of America (FFA),  4-H, and other groups with shooting programs for youngsters.  Shooters under 14 shoot .22 caliber revolvers and rifles, while older youngsters shoot the same pistols, rifles and shotguns used by adults.
